Christina Schrems LSW, CADC, CTP is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic and support roles. Currently serving as Lead Therapist at Footprints to Recovery since January 2023, Christina has previously worked as a Primary Therapist at Recovery Centers of America and held managerial positions at The Association for Individual Development, including Behavioral Health Region 2 Manager. With a background in case management and direct patient care in settings like Elgin Mental Health Center and Private Homecare, Christina has developed a strong skill set in comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and intervention for adults facing chronic mental and behavioral health challenges. Christina holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Aurora University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the same institution and an Associate of Arts from Waubonsee Community College.
