Mark Lombard

Founder at For Love & Art

Formerly the Director of Admissions at Temple University School of Dentistry (now the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University) in Philadelphia, Mark moved to the DFW Metroplex in the summer of 2003 and began community service as a Hospice Volunteer in 2005.

In 2010, Mark merged his passions for great art and hospice volunteering to creatively transform quality of life caregiving for seniors, the infirm, and those with end of life issues. Coalescing an unprecedented collaboration among the community outreach programs of fine museums, professional and volunteer caregivers, and philanthropic visionaries (including organizational volunteers), “For Love & Art: Sharing with Seniors” trumpeted the value of simple human love, digital technology and the preternatural power of art in enriching all dimensions of quality of life.

In 2013, “For Love & Art” garnered independent 501(c)3 nonprofit status. That same year, Mark was awarded Volunteer of the Year by the Texas and New Mexico Hospice Association and has since been a featured speaker at hospice and senior care conventions, and other recognitions.
