Kai Texel

Kai Texel is an experienced cover designer at Skyhorse Publishing, Inc. since July 2019, specializing in concepts and final designs across various genres. As a self-employed freelance illustrator since January 2012, Kai has created illustrations for diverse clients, including children's books and murals, while also selling merchandise at conventions. Previous roles include teaching animation and illustration at Montclair State University and serving as a cartoon illustration instructor for younger students at Art Academy of NJ LLC. Experience also includes working as an illustrator at Felix the Cat Productions, where concept art and murals were developed. Kai Texel holds a degree from Montclair State University, obtained between 2014 and 2017.
