Martin Mchugh is currently an advisor at FOR Solutions. Martin has over 20 years of experience in the field of atmospheric and space-based research.

Martin Mchugh began their career as a research physicist at the Naval Research Lab in 1986. There, they worked on the development of space-based infrared technology. Martin also designed algorithms for automatic target discrimination and hyperpsectral sensor design.

In 1996, Mchugh left the Naval Research Lab to join Global Atmospheric Technologies and Sciences as their lead software engineer. Martin later became their business development manager and science mission analyst. In 2014, they left Global Atmospheric Technologies and Sciences to join Christopher Newport University as their program manager.

Mchugh has been working in the field of atmospheric and space-based research for over 20 years. Martin is an expert in computer programming, target detection and tracking, background classification and discrimination, atmospheric modeling, and radiometric system design.

Martin Mchugh has a MS in Physics from Wake Forest University and a BS in Mathematics and Physics from Wake Forest University.
