Joel Byrnes has over 14 years of work experience in the field of software development. Joel'smost recent position was as a Full Stack Developer at For The Record (FTR) starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer at Biarri from February 2019 to October 2020. Joel also held various roles at Suncorp Group, including Technical Lead and Software Engineer, from July 2011 to February 2019. Joel began their career at Wotif Group as a Software Developer and later became an Intermediate Software Developer. Before that, they worked at Adeptus Productions as a Software Developer/Analyst/Client Liaison, where they developed and maintained a web-based research task allocation and monitoring system. Joel has expertise in PHP, MySQL, and full stack development.
Joel Byrnes pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Griffith University during the period from 2002 to 2007. This degree focused on the field of Software Engineering.
