Joel Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Joel began their career in 2006 as an Audio and Visual Engineer at SoundGeeK Productions. From 2008 to 2016, they served as an Assistant Manager and Stage Hand at Audio Spectrum. In 2016, Diaz joined HB Communications JSC as a Lead Installation Technician and Site Supervisor, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are employed at For The Record (FTR) as an AV Engineer, responsible for managing complex technical installations and assisting in providing courts with digital court recordings.
Joel Diaz completed their education at The New England Institute of Art, obtaining an Associate of Science degree in Audio Production. This program focused on Audiovisual Communications Technologies/Technicians. The education lasted until the year 2005.
