Joanne Carter has an extensive work experience in the food industry. In 2016, they co-founded and served as the Chief Marketing Officer of For True Foodies Only Inc., where they set the strategic direction and launched an award-winning mobile app and social platform. In 2018, they joined the International Food Authenticity Assurance Organization (IFAAO) as a Member of the Board of Advisors. From 2001 to 2020, they worked at McDonald's Corporation in various roles, including Senior Director Global Marketing, Family Business, Sr Director Marketing Europe, Brand & Strategy Group, Family Business, and Marketing Director. In 2020, they co-founded Burritos Hermanos, a cloud kitchen under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Joanne Carter obtained their MBA from ESCP Business School in 1994, specializing in International Business. Prior to that, they obtained their B.Com from McGill University in 1990, with a focus on Marketing and International Business.
