Darren Scott

Darren Scott is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in business operations and engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Business Operations at Forage Genetics International since September 2022, Darren oversees multifaceted aspects of the Alfalfa Forage and R&D Driven Agronomy business. Prior to this role, Darren held various senior management positions at Land O'Lakes, Inc., where responsibilities included indirect sourcing, facilities management, and engineering oversight. Additionally, Darren managed operations and personnel at Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., and excelled in sales and engineering roles at Applied Control and Skyline Engineering. A graduate of South Dakota Mines with dual Bachelor's degrees in Metallurgical and Mechanical Engineering, Darren also possesses foundational experience as a Systems Engineer with the United States Department of Defense.
