Somil Kumar

Somil Kumar has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Consultant at Consulting Co in 2005. Somil then moved to Sonata Software in 2004, where they served as a Senior Sales Executive- Large Accounts. In 2006, they were promoted to VP, Global Managing Partner and Member of Executive Committee, and in the same year, they were also promoted to Global Managing Partner and GM. In 2016, they moved to Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Managing Director and General Manager- Strategic Engagements, Americas, where they were responsible for leading complex and large scale global strategic deals. In 2017, they joined DXC Technology as Vice President and General Manager- Technology, Media & Telecom Sector, Americas, with P&L responsibility for one of the largest sectors. In 2019, they joined Cognizant as Global Leader -Large Strategic Deals and Market Unit Head. Finally, in 2020, they joined Forbes Councils as a Thought Leader.

Somil Kumar has a diverse educational background, having obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix in Sales & Marketing, a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from M.D University in Software Engineering, a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College in Business/ Commerce, and a High School diploma from Chinmaya Vidyalaya.
