Ram Nagappan

Ram Nagappan serves as the Chief Information Officer at BNY Mellon | Pershing since 2001, overseeing a team of over 2,500 global technology resources responsible for the architecture and operation of client-facing wealth management and custody platforms. Ram's experience includes leading the development of award-winning digital platforms such as NetX360+, NetXInvestor, and NetXServices. Prior to BNY Mellon, Ram held senior engineering roles at iNautix Technologies and DLJ Direct, contributing significantly to the creation of the first online brokerage platform. Additionally, Ram is an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2022 and has a diverse background as a serial entrepreneur and consultant. Ram's academic credentials include studies at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
