Avik Roy

Avik Roy is a distinguished policy expert and thought leader, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chairman of The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity since July 2016, and as President and CEO of the National Institute for Health Care Management since May 2024. Roy has a longstanding association with Forbes, holding various editorial positions including President, Senior Contributor, Policy Editor, and Opinion Editor, contributing significantly to public policy discourse. In addition, Roy is a Managing Partner at Roy Policy Research Inc., and holds advisory and board positions with the Bitcoin Policy Institute, CrowdHealth, and the Texas Bitcoin Foundation. Roy was previously a Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research and gained experience as a policy advisor for Marco Rubio's presidential campaign.
