Jim Henry

Jim Henry is a Senior Lecturer at Yale University and a Global Justice Fellow. From September 2014, Jim has served as a Senior Fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York's Center for Sustainable Investment. As the Founder and Managing Director of the Northern Environmental Law Center since 2010, Jim has led pro bono efforts in environmental and civil rights law, supporting local activists. Jim is also a columnist for Forbes.com, providing independent economic analysis. Previously, Jim held the position of Senior Economic Adviser at the Tax Justice Network until September 2022, and served as an international board member for Amnesty International USA. Other notable roles include Managing Director at Sag Harbor Group, Contributing Editor for The American Interest, and Interim Chair of the Global Alliance on Tax Justice. Jim's academic credentials include an AB, MA in Economics, and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard University.
