Kenny Elias has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Kenny served as President of Specialty Lending at Forbright Bank, where they oversaw the lender finance and specialty real estate divisions. Kenny also founded various specialty lending business units, including cash flow and leveraged finance, lender finance, and specialty real estate. Prior to that, Kenny was the EVP & Chief Lending Officer at Congressional Bank, where they started and managed specialty lending divisions, such as Cash Flow/Enterprise Value lending, lender finance, and specialty real estate lending. Kenny also served on the bank's credit committee, executive committee, and management council. Before their time at banks, Kenny worked as a Vice President at Blackstreet Capital. Kenny held the role of Director of Portfolio - Corporate Finance at CapitalSource Finance, where they managed a portfolio of corporate cash flow loans and equity investments. Kenny began their career as an Associate in the Private Finance Group at Allied Capital Corporation, where they were responsible for making investments in middle market companies. Kenny also worked as an Advanced Staff Accountant at Watkins, Meegan & Drury, focusing on audits, consulting, tax returns, and cash flow analysis for middle market clients.

Kenny Elias's education history includes obtaining a MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, in 1997, they achieved the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Furthermore, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting.
