Mustafa Tavsiz

Mustafa Tavsiz has a diverse work experience starting from 1993. Mustafa began their career as a Network Engineer and Network Operation Supervisor at Pamukbank, where they were responsible for controlling, managing, and problem determination of network devices and connections. Mustafa also handled the configuration and planning of WAN connections and received training in the field.

In 1997, Mustafa took on the role of Assistant Manager and Senior Network Engineer at Pamukbank. Here, their responsibilities included configuration, planning, and maintenance of communication subsystems and controllers, as well as conducting research and installation studies for migrating to a multi-protocol network.

From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Mainframe Network Consultant at Demirbank, where they provided consultancy services in collaboration with IBM.

At HSBC, Mustafa worked from 2002 to 2017 in various roles. Mustafa served as a Mainframe Systems Senior Consultant, responsible for designing and implementing batch management infrastructure. Mustafa also held positions as a Senior Enterprise Architect and Assistant Manager, overseeing installation, customization, and maintenance of zOS Mainframe networking products. Mustafa was involved in secure file transfer and SSH implementation on zOS, as well as assisting with system migration.

From 2017 to 2023, Mustafa worked at Akbank as a Senior Information Security Architect, focusing on information security architecture.

Their most recent role is as a Mainframe Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Forcerta, starting in 2023.

Mustafa Tavsiz retired for a brief period in 2023.

Mustafa Tavsiz attended Yildiz Technical University from 1985 to 1990, where they studied Electronic & Telecommunications Engineering. After completing their education at Yildiz Technical University, Mustafa obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained the COBIT 5 Foundation certification from APMG-International and the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
