Sharon Smith

Sharon Smith, MBA, currently serves as Associate Director of ERP Systems at the Ford Foundation, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sharon was the Director of Financial Systems Support at VNS Health from June 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included directing the support of Workday financials and reconfiguring the financial organization. Before that, Sharon spent 20 years at Bed Bath & Beyond, holding multiple positions including IT Director of Financial Product Management, where strategic roadmaps and a $5 million technology budget were managed, and IT Director of Financial Systems, overseeing a staff of 12. Earlier career roles included Sr Manager and Manager of Application Development, focused on IT project and functional management. Sharon holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Pace University and a BS in Accounting and Finance from Syracuse University, along with a Project Management Certificate from Stevens Institute of Technology and Workday Training.
