Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in metallurgical and materials engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Experience includes serving as a Design & Release Aluminum Structural Components Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where responsibilities encompassed designing aluminum transmission components and coordinating material testing. Prior to this, Michael contributed as a Casting & Forging Manufacturing Engineer at Ford and as a Metallurgical Engineer Manager at Kaiser Aluminum, where a new metallurgical laboratory was established. Additional roles include leading a Materials Engineering Laboratory at TRW Automotive and providing technical expertise at Nemak, as well as managing a production team at Neutrogena.
