Ugur Caliskan

Ugur Caliskan, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Ford Pro since August 2022, Ugur brings a wealth of expertise from previous roles at Ford Motor Company, where responsibilities included both Senior Data Scientist and Strategy & Acceleration Data Scientist positions. Prior experience encompasses Senior Data Scientist roles at Ford Otosan and Arcelik Group, as well as freelance data science work. Ugur's academic background features a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Before transitioning to data science, Ugur held civil engineering positions at ENET Engineering Design Research and Consulting and EMAY International Engineering, focusing on structural design and project coordination.
