Regan R. Lear is the current Special Events Manager at Ford's Theatre Society. Prior to this, they worked as a Grants & Development Associate II at Society for Neuroscience from October 2018 to October 2021. In this role, they raised over $100,000 in sponsorship revenue for SfN's first-ever virtual conference in January 2021 through collaboration with Grants & Development and Marketing teams. They also took the lead on prospecting, outreach, and stewarding sponsors for the annual meeting, managed invoicing to sponsors and tracking of incoming payments, took the lead on preparation of drafting sponsor agreements and preparing programmatic reports, managed promotion, prospecting, and stewardship of the organization's monthly giving program, drafted messaging to promote the organization's individual giving fund, assisted in the planning and execution of the first-ever Donor & Volunteer Breakfast in November 2019, managed timeline and promotion of applications for the organization's Trainee Professional Development Award program, and supported SfN's awards and prizes season, including promotion of diverse nominations, scheduling and conducting committee meetings, and coordination of recipient-donor communications.
Regan R. Lear has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies and Women's & Gender Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. They also have a Master of Arts in Arts Management from George Mason University.
