Shereen Alex

Shereen Alex has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Shereen began their career as a Consultant at UST Global, where they worked as an Onsite Lead and Senior Programmer Analyst at Lehman Brothers. Shereen then moved on to LogicaCMG as a Consultant, working as a Tech Lead on the DealerCONNECT 2.0 Migration project for DaimlerChrysler.

Following that, Shereen worked as a Contractor at JWT, where they served as a Portal Architect on the Team Detroit portal project. Shereen also worked as a Contractor at R L Polk and Entertainment Publications, where they held roles as a Senior Developer and was responsible for various technical tasks.

Shereen then joined Xede Consulting Group as an Architect, where they worked as a Senior Developer on the Die Engineering Services Open Source Removal project for GM. Shereen was responsible for evaluating different technologies and implementing them in the project.

After Xede Consulting Group, Shereen worked at R L Polk as a Technical Lead on the PolkInsight North America project. Shereen was responsible for the architecture, implementation, and mentoring of junior developers.

Shereen then joined Covisint as a Solutions Architect, where they were awarded the Employee of the Quarter Award and served as a Portfolio Architect for the entire Ally account. Shereen was responsible for the overall solution, budget, and estimations.

Following Covisint, Shereen worked at Perficient as a Sr. Solutions Architect, focusing on the FordDirect Account. Shereen was responsible for the overall integration, specifications, and design of multiple projects.

Most recently, Shereen has been working at FordDirect, starting as a Director of Technology and then moving up to the position of Sr. Director of Cloud Services. In these roles, they provided strategic direction, oversaw multiple projects, and leveraged industry best practices to improve efficiency. Shereen also managed technical teams, budgets, and worked on various technology platforms.

Throughout their career, Shereen has gained experience in a wide range of technologies, including cloud services, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Mongo, Azure, API management, and more. Shereen has also demonstrated skills in architecture design, team management, and technical evaluation.

Shereen Alex obtained a BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum from 1993 to 1999. Before that, they attended Sarvodaya Vidyalaya from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Brain Bench Certified Java Programmer, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster, IBM Certified Solution Advisor - Cloud Computing Architecture V3, IBM Certified Solution Developer, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA), Sun Certified Java Programmer (JDK 1.4), and Sun Certified Web Component Developer 1.4.
