Alexander Gannon

Alexander Gannon is a Machine Learning Engineer at FLOAT, where management of a six-member team focuses on software development and machine learning models, including a highly accurate convolutional computer vision model for cell segmentation. In addition to this role, Gannon serves as a Technical Advisor at Fordham University, collaborating with administration to integrate AI into student experiences and presenting on the role of Generative AI in education. Previously, Gannon led a grant-winning neuroscience research project, analyzing fiber photometry data to uncover patterns in neuron activity, and supported a team of resident assistants while conducting data analysis on program participation and demographics. Gannon is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computational Neuroscience at Fordham University.
