Nicholas J. Pisano

Nicholas J. Pisano currently serves as a Graduate Student Assistant at Fordham University since August 2024, while also holding the position of Major Plans & Operations Chief with the Connecticut Army National Guard since August 2019, where responsibilities have included overseeing a rear detachment of over 130 soldiers and support staff. Pisano has previously held roles such as Captain in various capacities within the Connecticut Army National Guard and served as a Senior Military Science Instructor at the University of Connecticut. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in History from Fordham University (2024), a Master of Arts in History from Southern Connecticut State University (2023), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Fairfield University (2013). Additional experience includes teaching history and serving as Department Head at Fusion Academy, along with editing scholarly articles for the Connecticut Historical Review.
