Fordham University
Travis Proulx currently serves as the Vice President of External Affairs at Fordham University, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this, Proulx was the Vice Chancellor for Agency and Community Engagement at The State University of New York from February 2019 to January 2025, where responsibilities included engaging with community and government stakeholders across the nation’s largest higher education system. Proulx has also held significant roles in government affairs and communications for various organizations, including Metropolitan Public Strategies, Environmental Advocates of New York, and the New York State Senate. Notable achievements include leadership in campaigns resulting in substantial environmental legislation and recognition by City & State as one of the 'Who's Who in Government Relations' in 2023. Proulx holds an MA in Public Policy and Communications from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA in Government and Communications from St. Lawrence University.
