AdeYemi Adedeji, M.D. has a long and distinguished career in the medical field. AdeYemi began their career in 1992 as a Research Associate at Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical. AdeYemi then moved to Pfizer Inc. in 2008 as a Medical Director. In 2011, they became the Global Medical Director, Drug Safety and Risk Management at Acorda Therapeutics. AdeYemi co-authored the Product Safety Profile Report which was presented at the 28th Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis. AdeYemi then moved to Braeburn in 2017 as the Snr. Medical Director, Head of PV. In 2018, they became the Executive Medical Director/Head of Safety & PV at Purdue Pharmaceutical. In 2020, they became the Head of Drug Safety and PV at BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, they are the VP, Head of Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Fore Biotherapeutics, a position they have held since 2022.
AdeYemi Adedeji, M.D. began their education at University of Ibadan, where they earned a B.S. in Human Nutrition from 1984-1989. AdeYemi then continued their studies at Spartan Health Science University, School of Medicine, graduating with an M.D. in Medicine in 2001. AdeYemi also attended Rutgers University, though no degree was earned.
