Laura Serwer

Laura Serwer is a seasoned professional in pharmacology and toxicology, currently serving as Senior Director at CRISPR Therapeutics since August 2018, where prior roles included Director and Associate Director. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Scientist in Toxicology at NGM Biopharmaceuticals, and Senior Scientist I at CytomX Therapeutics, focusing on nonclinical safety and bioanalysis. Laura began a career in drug development at Omniox, contributing to the advancement of therapeutics for hypoxia-related conditions, and conducted translational research as a PhD candidate at the C. David James Laboratory, specializing in drug delivery to brain tumors. Education consists of a B.S. in Biology from Duke University and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco.
