Shaul Barth has worked in the field of molecular biology since 2012, when they began their PhD at Bar-Ilan University. During their time there, they gained vast experience in molecular-biology methods, both in-vivo and in-vitro, and served as a coordinator of the Molecular-Biology course at the pre-med academy of BIU and lab instructor at the advanced genetics lab. In 2017, they joined ARTSaVIT as a researcher, where they planned, initiated, and executed various methods for lead generation from a list of hits (H2L), including high-throughput viability and safety assays, apoptosis assays, and mechanism of action (MOA) validations. In 2018, they joined NovellusDx as a Senior Researcher and Project Manager. As a Senior Researcher, they developed new and improved existing cell-based bioassays for measuring the oncogenic level of mutations and molecular pathways. As Project Manager, they applied CRISPR-Cas12a (Cpf1) technology to develop a novel technique for multiplexing gene editing in-vitro, and implemented the new protocol in the molecular lab pipe-line. In 2020, they joined Anima Biotech as a Principal Research Scientist and Project Manager.
Shaul Barth attended Bar-Ilan University from 2007 to 2016, where they earned a M.sc. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
