Walter Tarca has a extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Walter currently holds the position of Group CEO at Vicplas International Ltd since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President of Forefront Medical Technology from 2016. Walter also held the role of Vice President of Finance and Operations at Elekta from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they were the Vice President Asia Pacific at Nucletron Asia Pacific from 2009 to 2012, where they achieved remarkable growth and ranked highly in employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Walter also had a successful stint at Covidien (formerly Tyco Healthcare) where they served as Vice President, President Asia Pacific and later as Vice President of Finance and Operations from 1999 to 2008. Walter started their career at United States Surgical Corporation as an Area Controller Asia Pacific from 1992 to 1998. Walter also worked at Woodroffe Group and Company and Elders IXL, Britax Group in various Operations and Finance positions.
Walter Tarca studied International Economics at the University of Adelaide. Walter also holds a certification as a Fellow, Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Australia from the Australian Society of Accountants.

Forefront Medical Technology is a global medical device contract manufacturer with manufacturing locations in Singapore, Changzhou and Xiamen, China, as well as business development centers in Shanghai, China, Farmington, CT USA. We are located close to our customers for local, responsive technical assistance. Forefront has grown significantly during its 18 year history to become the leading contract manufacturer of the Laryngeal Mask Airway, as well a technical innovator with technical design assistance, prototyping, injection molding, extrusion, assembly, packaging and global supply chain. Our technical focus is exclusively medical disposable devices, drug delivery systems and diagnostic platforms. In addition, we have developed extensive capabilities with optically clear polycarbonate sheaths, drug infusion systems, diagnostic test kits, feeding tube catheters, wire reinforced tubing, monitoring devices and new specialty products. State of the art manufacturing capabilities include class 100k clean rooms for extrusion and injection molding, complimented by class 10k clean rooms for assembly and packaging. Our production facilities are TUV SUD accredited ISO 9001 and ISO 13485/14001/45001/50001, as well as FDA CGMP compliant. In addition, Forefront Changzhou and Xiamen have obtained RoHS certification and are certified by SFDA with a Class 2 Medical Device capability.
