Ruth Michaelson

Ruth Michaelson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in reporting from the Middle East. Since January 2016, Ruth has been a reporter for Guardian News & Media, covering breaking news and feature pieces in collaboration with local journalists. Ruth has contributed to various media outlets, including Monocle, The Daily Beast, Foreign Policy, New Statesman, and FRANCE 24, where reporting has ranged from Egyptian economics to the Syrian refugee crisis. Ruth also served as a correspondent for Radio France Internationale and worked as a freelance contributor for Mashable and The Independent. Ruth holds a Master of Science in Investigative Journalism from Columbia University and degrees in Politics and French from The University of Manchester, as well as Philosophy and Translation from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
