Thomas Barat

Thomas Barat serves as the Editor in Chief of CCO Magazine since June 2006, overseeing both the Hungarian and English versions of the publication. Barat has held the role of Chief Communications Officer at FIBRACO Management Consulting since June 2008, providing services in management consulting, corporate communication, and public relations while also editing the CCO Magazine. As the Head of the New York Branch at BreuerPress since April 2003, Barat operates as a US Branch Correspondent and editor. Additional roles include membership in the Society of Professional Journalists since 2015, Director of Ethics and Compliance for the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the United States since May 2019, and founding Honorary President of the American Hungarian Chamber of Commerce of New York. Barat also contributed as the Founding President of the Media Self-regulation Body in Hungary and served as President of the Ethical Committee for MÚOSZ from 2011 to 2015. Educator at Budapest College of Management from 2003 to 2013, Barat taught various subjects including Public Relations and Marketing communication.
