Jacob Riis-Jacobsen

Jacob Riis-Jacobsen has a strong background in IT and digitalization. Jacob most recently served as the Head of Group IT at Forenede, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of IT & Digitalization at Aleris-Hamlet Hospitaler from 2016 to 2022. From 2007 to 2016, they worked as the IT Manager at Gigtforeningen, where they provided daily leadership and strategic support for the IT department. Before that, they were a System Administrator at Hjerteforeningen from 1995 to 2007. Jacob began their career as a Developer at Lightship Chartering in 1994 and also gained experience in IT support at August Krogh Institute in 1993.

Jacob Riis-Jacobsen attended Skovlyskolen from 1980 to 1985, completing their primary education. Jacob then studied as an Informatik Assistent at Copenhagen Business School from 1993 to 1995. In 2007, they became a Diplomstuderende at IT-Universitetet i København, where they are currently studying. In terms of additional certifications, Jacob obtained the ITIL Foundation certification in 2012 from Firebrand / Prometric. In 2017, they obtained the Prince2 Foundation and Prince2 Practitioner certifications from Firebrand Nordic - Danmark.
