Gary Metzker

Gary Metzker has worked in various software engineering roles since 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they were the Manager of I.T. Services at J.V. West, where they designed and implemented network infrastructure for warehouse fulfillment and distribution facilities. From 2001 to 2004, they were a Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer at PerTrac Financial Solutions, where they led in-house and offshore engineers and developed software using HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, ASP, and C#. From 2004 to 2012, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Evestment, where they developed MVC/WebApi/KnockoutJs/Jquery applications and HTML5/MVC applications to manage SaaS subscriptions. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Software Development Engineer at ecoATM, where they re-architected the company's website infrastructure with a stack of AngularJS, MVC5, WebApi, and ElasticSearch. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, they were a Principal and Senior Software Engineer at Human Longevity, Inc., where they engineered automated systems on Amazon AWS to scale and analyze thousands of whole genome samples in parallel.

Gary Metzker obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno between 1996 and 2000. Gary also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCPD - Windows Developer 4 in January 2011, MCPD - Windows Developer 3.5 in November 2010, MCPD - Enterprise Application Developer in March 2008, MCPD - Web Developer in January 2008, MCPD - Windows Developer in November 2007, MCSD in June 2004, and MCAD - Web | Windows | Enterprise in April 2004.
