Adela Baho

Adela Baho, MSc, FRM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Adela currently holds the position of Director and Conducting Officer - Risk Management, Valuation, Compliance at Foresight Group since April 2020. Adela is also a Visiting Lecturer at ESCP Business School since January 2020. Previously, they served as the Head of Risk Management AIFM at Intertrust Group from May 2019 to December 2019. Adela has extensive experience at Credit Suisse, where they worked as a Senior Executive Vice President from April 2015 to May 2019, overseeing the implementation of the Alternative Investment Funds Directive and successfully launching various AIFs. Adela has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Aix-Marseille University from April 2013 to March 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Financial Risk Manager at SEB Global Services from November 2013 to March 2015, and at Lemanik Asset Management S.A. from December 2011 to December 2012. Adela started their career as an Investment Manager at Quintet Private Bank from January 2007 to October 2011, and as a Research Analyst at Nordea Investment Funds from January 2006 to December 2006. Adela began their professional journey as a Credit Research Analyst at Hypo Real Estate Group from October 2004 to January 2006. Adela's expertise lies in risk management, valuation, compliance, and lecturing.

Adela Baho's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Applied Science in Financial Economics from the University of Tirana in 1998. Adela then pursued a Master's Degree of Science in Macroeconomics and Financial Markets from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne in 2003. Adela later completed a Certified FRM (Financial Risk Manager) degree from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2012. Adela also obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree from the CFA Institute in the same year. Furthermore, Adela has completed an Advanced Risk and Portfolio Management Bootcamp from New York University in 2013 and a School of Private Equity from the International Faculty of Finance (IFF) London in 2016. Adela has additional certifications in the field of Private Equity, Risk Management, and Portfolio Management.
