Blair Johnston has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Starting in 2021, they have been an Environmental Protection Specialist for the US Navy. Prior to that, they were a Data Technician for Forest Carbon Works from 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Lead Tour Guide for Bloomsburg. Before that, they were a Shift Supervisor for Bloomin'bagels II from 2015 to 2018. In 2020, they also worked as a Summer Intern for the Columbia County Conservation District/NRCS.

Blair Johnston attended Southern Columbia High School from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Blair then attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geography, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, a Minor in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, and a Minor in Legal Studies, General. In 2018, Blair also obtained a Watershed Management Training Certificate from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
