Dennis Puzz Jr.

Dennis Puzz, Jr. is an experienced attorney specializing in various aspects of Native American law and governance. Currently serving as an Attorney for the Forest County Potawatomi Community since August 2022, Dennis previously held the position of General Counsel for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community from February 2016 to August 2022, focusing on legal matters related to gaming, tax, employment, construction, finance, and economic development. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Attorney and General Counsel at the Corporate Commission of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians, and as Executive Director for the Yurok Tribe, overseeing tribal government and legal initiatives. Dennis's legal expertise is supported by a JD in Indian Law from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BSE in secondary education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
