Socrates Ayvaliotis

Socrates Ayvaliotis has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Socrates started their career at EY, where they worked as a Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, and later as a Manager. Socrates'srole focused on Real-Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Publicly traded Alternative asset Managers. During their time at EY, they conducted valuations, assessed audit risks, evaluated derivative hedges, and facilitated the streamlining of financial reporting processes.

In 2018, Socrates became self-employed and worked as a Consultant for the entire year. Following their self-employment, they joined RailWorks Corporation, where they held various positions. Socrates served as the Reporting Manager, Financial Controller for the East Region, and ultimately as the Director of Finance and Operations. In this role, they provided insights to the FP&A, Accounting, and Operations functions by bridging the gap between them.

Currently, Socrates is the Vice President of Finance at Forest Electric New York. Socrates began their tenure in 2023 and continues to contribute their financial expertise to the company.

Socrates Ayvaliotis holds a Master's degree in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business, which was obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution, graduating in 2011 as well. Socrates has also obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Board of Accountancy.
