Jonathan Haga

Jonathan Haga is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Principal at Forest Hills Public Schools since June 2021. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of Assistant Principal at Grand Rapids Public Schools and was a Teacher Leader/Fellow at Leading Educators, where leadership skills were honed through professional development initiatives. Jonathan's teaching background includes roles as a 4th-5th Grade Teacher at Godwin Heights Public Schools and experience as a Kindergarten and Preschool Teacher in Chicago. In addition to educational roles, Jonathan has a strong coaching background, leading water polo teams to state championships and coaching at various levels. An advocate for educator development, Jonathan has designed and implemented numerous programs and professional development seminars. Jonathan holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Teaching from Walden University and a Bachelor's in English from Michigan State University.
