Jason Rountree

Assistant Director, Operations at Forest Investment Associates

Jason Rountree has a diverse range of work experience in the forestry industry. Jason began their career as a Forester at Camp Blanding FL Army National Guard Base in 1999. Jason later joined The St. Joe Company in 2000, initially as an Assistant Forester and then as a Wood Flow Coordinator, where their responsibilities included overseeing forestry activities, managing contractors, and coordinating harvest activities and budgeting processes across multiple forest units. In 2006, Jason joined Forest Investment Associates as the Assistant Director, Operations. In this role, they work with local forest management teams, research partners, industry groups, and timber markets internationally to drive investor return. Additionally, they also support forest management in the southeastern United States.

Jason Rountree began their education in 1994 at Georgia Southern University, where they completed lower division coursework. Jason then transferred to the University of Florida in 1997 and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management.
