Karen Wiebe

Karen Wiebe has over 35 years of work experience. Karen began their career in 1985 as a Layout Artist at LaGrange Sun/Shopper. In 1991, they moved to Wednesday Journal as a Production worker. In 2002, they became an Office Assistant at Legere Dance Centre and then in 2004, they took on the role of Wardrobe Mistress at Ballet Legere. In 2014, they began working at Brookfield Public Library as a Circulation Assistant and at the same time, they became a Materials Services Assistant at River Forest Public Library. Finally, in 2016, they took on the role of Youth Services Assistant at Brookfield Public Library and in 2017, they became the Circulation Assistant Manager at Forest Park Public Library.

Karen Wiebe began their educational journey in 1982 when they attended Central Academy of Commercial Art and earned a Commercial Art degree in the field of Commercial Art in 1984. In 2011, they returned to school and obtained a LTA Certificate from College of DuPage in Library Technology and Information. Karen also attended College of DuPage from 2013 to 2017, studying Fashion Studies.
