Aren Kriks, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Chief Civil Engineer at the Forest Preserves of Cook County since May 2016, Aren Kriks is responsible for developing multi-year capital budgets and asset management strategies while directing construction activities to ensure adherence to contract specifications. Prior to this role, Aren Kriks worked at the Illinois Department of Transportation from April 2011 to April 2016, contributing as a Project Engineer and authoring preliminary engineering project reports.
