Chris Nalbone

Chris Nalbone is an experienced professional with a diverse background in volunteer support and technology. Currently serving as an Ecological Steward with the Forest Preserves of Cook County and as a volunteer with Beyond Hunger, Chris actively contributes to sustainability and food security initiatives. Previously, Chris held multiple roles at FIRST from June 2021 to October 2025, including Volunteer Support Specialist and Specialist in Field & Volunteer Support, where responsibilities encompassed managing logistics, data, and support systems for a large volunteer community. Prior experience includes significant IT roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 1991 to 2019, focusing on clinical research informatics and systems implementation, as well as a position as a Software Engineer at General Electric. Chris earned a BS in Computer Science from Drexel University in 1987.
