Peter van-Velzen is a skilled GIS service delivery lead at Forest Research, managing the customer experience for the 'Forester' system. Prior to this role, Peter worked as a specialist advisor on timber forecast and production at Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru/Natural Resources Wales, and as a Harvesting Programme Manager at Forestry Commission. With a background in forestry and a keen interest in GIS and EO sciences, Peter is dedicated to providing analysis, performance indicators, and decision support using tools such as ESRI ArcGIS.
