Grace Swanson

Grace Swanson is an experienced Program Manager at the U.S. Forest Service, focusing on initiatives in Africa and the Middle East since August 2016. Previously, Grace held the position of Project Coordinator at The Hashemite Fund for Development of the Jordan Badia, where two USG-funded projects aimed at natural resource management were coordinated, providing training and employment opportunities to Jordanian Bedouin women. Additional roles include Internship Coordinator at The Hashemite Fund, Case Management Intern at Heartland Alliance, and Refugee Resettlement Intern at World Relief. Grace's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Development from the University of Birmingham, a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and an Associate's degree from Whatcom Community College. Additionally, Grace has been involved with Literacy Works Chicago since 2014.
