Ryne Hicks has extensive experience in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) operations and instruction, beginning with service as a UAS Operator in the US Army from August 2003 to September 2009, where key responsibilities included operating the MQ-5B UAV in various environments and leading flight safety measures. Following military service, Ryne served as a UAS External Operator for Northrop Grumman and as an IOC/RIT Instructor for Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. At General Dynamics, roles included UAS Instructor Operator, where leadership was provided to flight instructors, and contributions were made to advancing training curricula and standard compliance. Currently, Ryne serves as an Aviation Management Specialist for the U.S. Forest Service.
