Salem Jones

Salem Jones serves as the ADR & Remedy Programme Manager at the Forest Stewardship Council™ since January 2023, while also holding the position of Legal Officer at FSC Global Development since December 2012, focusing on international intellectual property and dispute resolution strategies aimed at enhancing global credibility and managing organizational risk. Additionally, Salem has been the Global Administrator for ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability since 2009, overseeing central management, human resources, and international membership coordination. Previous experience includes roles as a Trademark Protection Officer at FSC Global Development GmbH and Law Clerk at the Society of Counsel Representing Accused Persons. Salem holds a Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University School of Law and a degree in German Literature, Feminism, and Post Colonial Theory from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
