Michelle Pena is a dedicated professional with experience in family case planning and customer service. Currently serving as a Family Case Planner at Forestdale, Inc. since March 2022, Michelle also works as a Server at Extra Virgin since October 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Patient Coordinator at The Juhi Ash Center from August 2021 to March 2022 and an internship at Jeffrey Cox LCSW from April 2020 to March 2022, where Michelle developed detailed PowerPoint presentations tailored to client sensitivities. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Work from Brooklyn College.

Forestdale’s roots go back 165 years, when a group of women affiliated with a church in Brooklyn founded an industrial school for children, which in 1980 became Forestdale. Forestdale is the only child welfare agency headquartered in Queens, with an exclusive focus on the particular needs of Queens' and Brooklyn communities & families.
