Robert van der Aa Msc

Robert van der Aa MSc MBA has a diverse work experience in the agriculture industry. Robert has held multiple roles at ForFarmers, starting as a Sales Manager for dairy and goat farmers from January 2014 to December 2015. Robert then became the Sales Manager for dairy cattle from January 2016 to March 2018. From March 2018 to January 2021, they served as the Senior Sales Manager, leading a team of over 40 employees. Following that, they were appointed as the Business Unit Director for ruminants in the Netherlands from January 2021 to July 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Commercial Director for ruminants in the Netherlands at ForFarmers.

Before joining ForFarmers, they worked as a Team Leader for ruminants at Agri Combi Oost from January 2012 to December 2013. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Agri Twente, starting in March 2004 and continuing until January 2012. Robert also gained experience as a Business Advisor in the livestock sector at HendrixUTD from September 2003 to December 2004, and at Hendrix UTD from September 1997 to December 2002, where they specialized in advising dairy goat and cattle farmers.

Robert van der Aa MSc MBA obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Executive MBA from TSM Business School, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, they attended Internationale Agrarische Hogeschool Larenstein, Deventer from 1993 to 1997, obtaining a degree in Nederlandse Landbouw. In addition, they completed various modules in MBA Food & Finance from Nyenrode Business University between 2015 and 2016.
