Kari Henson has a strong background in biomedical and chemical engineering. With experience in research and development roles at various biotech companies, Kari has been involved in the development of novel gene therapies for rare diseases, a monoclonal antibody for autoimmune diseases, and a gene therapy for wound healing. Kari's research work has focused on factors influencing breast cancer metastasis to bone marrow and the evaluation of biopolymers for total joint arthroplasty. Kari currently holds the position of Director of Research and Development at Forge Biologics.
