Kirsten Louks

Kirsten Louks is an Associate Scientist at Forge Biologics, with prior experience as a Senior Research Assistant at Athersys, where key contributions included operating single-use bioreactors, creating visual SOP guides, and conducting environmental monitoring. An earlier role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Jinkerson lab involved researching Cnidarian-Dinoflagellate symbiosis, with responsibilities in algal culture maintenance and data collection. Kirsten also interned at Sorenson Engineering Inc., focusing on machine inspection and inventory management. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
