Sara Shahnejat

Sara Shahnejat, PhD, is a Senior Scientific Writer at Forge Biologics since January 2022 and previously held the position of Scientist II. Prior experience includes a Research Scientist role at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from July 2016 to August 2021, as well as serving as a PhD researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology and a PhD student at the University of Potsdam from July 2011 to June 2016. Research expertise focuses on the functional characterization of transcription factors that regulate plant growth and stress responses, along with the identification of their gene regulatory networks.
