Hector E. Paz III

Hector E. Paz III is a seasoned Latin America Defense and Security Specialist with expertise in security cooperation, defense policy, and institution building. With over 30 years of military service, they have held various roles, including Middle East Intel Analyst at ARMY G-2 and Executive Officer to the Military Deputy Commander at US Southern Command. Currently, Hector serves in the Partnerships Directorate for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space and Missile Defense while pursuing a Master of Science in International Relations at Troy University. Additionally, Hector has experience as an Army Section Chief at USMAAG US Embassy and Chief of the Crisis Action Team at the Inter-American Defense College.
