Audrey Schmit

Audrey Schmit is an experienced professional currently serving in Community Engagement at ForgeNow since May 2023. Audrey holds a long-term role as an Advisory Board Member and sits on the Board of Directors for the Clayton Dabney Foundation for Kids with Cancer, an organization dedicated to assisting families with children in the final stages of terminal cancer. Prior experience includes serving as Member & Constituent Relations Coordinator at the Texas General Counsel Forum from July 2019 to April 2023, and Manager of Development and Special Events at the Dallas Theater Center from August 1997 to August 1998. Additional roles include Government Relations for World Cup USA 1994, Assistant to the Campaign Director for the Bush Quayle 1992 Presidential Campaign, and Assistant to the Counsellor to the President for Domestic Policy at The White House. Audrey earned a B.A. in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin between 1986 and 1990.
